Do you risk the lives of the rescuers and help the people who we're told to evacuate and didnt. Or do wait off on helping them and take care of others? I personally think we should wait off on the survivors who we're told to evacuate and didn't. Dont get me wrong. Then watch those same hodge podges drop their prices after they realize we really didnt need them in the first place. We still have South America and Canada. Next, we need to build more refineries so we can keep up with demand. We only need one or two more refineries to ease the load up!! We havent built any refineries in the past 20 years!!! Im kinda upset about this whole Sox/Cubs rivalry thing. Im a huge White Sox Fan but yet I still want the Cubs to win, just not when their playing the Sox. Ideally both teams would be in the World Series with the White Sox winning against the Chicago Cubs in 7 games. My thinking is if the city wins something we're all benefitting. Be it the Cubs or Sox. I dont see many other people with my view. They usually love one team and despise the other. Im not counting on too many Cubs fans tuning in to watch the Sox in the playoffs. Its a shame too because I remeber watching my TV and cheering for the Cubs when they were in the playoffs. Oh well.....

Dont get me wrong. Im from Chicago and I wanna see the Cubs win (Not When their playing the White Sox though). But the real reason the cubs suck is their fans. Think about it. If the team loses all 162 games so what they still sold out every game. If the team wins 162 games so what they still sold out every game. They have a damn near guaranteed National TV/Radio Contract. I know they spent some money this year. But who cares about the money. The cubs wont press their players hard enough to make them play good at all. They dont want to put pressure on the managers/players to excel as to not disturb the teams very delicate psyche. Their a bunch of crybabies and fingerpointers, they cannot take criticisim from anyone. The solution? Tickets will be sold out as long the fans keep going aisnd supporting this nonsense. DONT GO. The Chicago Cubs and the Tribune Company (They own the Cubs) will continue to make money if all the games are sold out. When people start to not show up then they might start getting concerned with their teams performance in terms of Wins not Profit.

Thats fucked up. A proposed smoking ban that would prevent me from enjoying my cigarette after my meal or with a beer at a bar. I didnt smoke until I was 20. Before then, the only time I cared in someone was smoking around me was when there was a smoking section and they weren't sitting in it. Its my cigarette and my lungs. Dont give me that second habd smoke shit either. People have been smoking in bars since, well, bars were first around. Its alright though that will never pass in Chicago anyway....

Why The Iraqi War was a good thing.

Now before we start let me just say this is in no way meaning that putting anyones life on the line is good. I have several family members who are in Iraq now.
(In no paticular order)
1. We now have a base (country) right smack dab in the middle of the desert. Now other countrys ( Iran, Syria, Saudia Arabia, Yemen, Afghanistan to name a few) are all put into check. How? Anything they do that would entive us to use military action would no doubt come from newly constructed airbases and us camps all over Iraq. Do you think the Iraqi Government isnt gonna let us use their air space or their land for troop movements? Of course not.
2. While stopping one regime (Saddams) from gaining too much power we averted an inevitable war in the future now. Someone had to make the call to take these guys out. What if their power were to spread and grow? They'd get stronger and stronger till the war was 10x the scale it is now. President Bush stopped what evil men started.
3.Oil. Your goddamn right we did it partly for oil. Theres no shame in that. Iraq has mass oil producing capabilities (granted they were a little higher before the war but nonetheless they'll come back around to pumping full steam) and were only usign it and its profits for Saddams glorious palaces, countless underground bunkers, and weapons for his private militia unit ( Republican Guard ). He would produce just enough oil (Iraqs main source of income) to support his habits. Did he ever give out tax breaks to the Iraqi citizens? Provide adaquate health, education, power, water, economic conditions, free enterprise or any of the things that we take for granted that he could of paid for had he focused on oil production? Thats all for now Im beat

A man who tried to get even by paying a traffic ticket with $120 in pennies got upstaged by a North Dakota judge who made him stay until they were counted.
Robert John Zukowski brought a garbage can full of about 12,000 pennies to Clay County District Court to pay his fine for speeding, the Fargo Forum reported. Court Administrator Jan Crossette lugged the bucket of change to a bank, which used a machine to count the money and gave her $120 in bills.
Zukowski got a few pennies back in overpayment.
Judge John Pearson told the newspaper he thought Zukowski's anger was misdirected.
"If the person is mad at the cop, why take it out on court administration?" Pearson asked. "They're punishing the wrong people."

Now is it just me or is this judge an asshole. Of course no one would want to count through a garbage can full of pennies. No one would want to miss a day of work, goto the court house, wait in line with the scum of the earth, just to be ignored by a judge for your 20 second meeting with him. Plus with the way cops give out tickets (especially at the end of the month) whos to say the guy deserved a ticket in the first place. The judge should be happy that this man actually came into court and paid his ticket. The judge wasnt the one counting or lugging the pennies around. Fuck him. If the judge was so unhappy about his bringing pennies to pay the ticket he has a few options. 1)Dont make him pay. 2)Take the money for the ticket that he brought in Pennies or not.3)Make him take the change all the way back home with him and dismiss the case. Otherwise fuck off. He paid his ticket.

I love TMobile but HATE my SamsungE315

I recently purchased he Samsung E315 camera/flip phone fomr tmobile.com. Ive had TMobile in the past and my previous phone ( Nokia 6010 ) sounded great. Now with this new Samsung phone I cant hear anyone and they can barely hear me!!! Its the worst sounding cellphone Ive ever encountered. Even the camera sucks. You cant turn off the shutter noise (even worse its a Very loud shutter noise) and it takes literally 10 sec. from regular mode to camera ready, and it doesnt have a flash. Theres an annoying ass light that blinks every 6 sec. (that you can thankfully turn off) but no light. Why didnt they just make that light blink while your taking a picture at least help out a little? The phone wont vibrate and ring at the same time and cant be set off of t9 text mode without manually doing it for every text( I hate predictive text ). AS far as this phone goes the only thing I do like about it is the battery life, expect around 2 1/2 days of talking and standby time on an overnight charge. It is also very durable. Ive dropped my phone down a flight of concrete stairs as well as numerous other times and the thing wont even turn off. Eitherway I got burned buying this phone make sure you dont do the same.

I work for a major grocery store in the Chicago area, more specifically in the produce section. We are told to throw anyting away that is bruised, discolored, or has TODAYS date on it. We take this trash (Which is unaccounted for it just counts as a loss) and throw it directly into the dumpster. I walk to work, everyday at least 3 homeless people ae asking for money, or food. Their is a local church that gives out meals to the homeless but their funding jsut got cut by the city. Why cant we give this food to the groups that distribute food? I understand that if we we're to sell it past its expiration date and someone bought and got sick we could get sued. But lets be real, no one gets sick by eating bad produce. The dates on salads are sell by dates not good by dates. These salads are good for days after the date on the package. I dunno.... I just feel bad when I throw away $400 worht of produce away a day!!!!
